I loved the idea of this drink, but it didn’t quite hit for me. I picked basil and yuzu, which might’ve been too subtle with the bourbon. It’s definitely high quality, but I was hoping for something a little bolder. Might try a different combo next time!
I tried it with thyme and grapefruit, and wow — totally elevated. The bourbon still shines but the citrus and herbs add a clean, modern twist. The aroma from the herb sprig made it feel like a mixology moment at home. Five stars for flavor and vibe.
